A list of medicines that are used to treat those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder include Concerta, Ritalin, Dexedrine, Dextrostat, Adderall, Cylert, Stratera, Catapres, Norpramin, Tofranil, and Welbutrin.

These medicines vary in their affects. The psycho stimulants present in these medicines include methylphenidate, dextroamphetamine, pemoline, clonidine, atomoxetine, desipramine, imipramine, buproprion, and more.

There are some side effects associated with many of these ADHD medicines including headaches, stomach aches, low appetite levels, having trouble sleeping, etc. It is important for people to take their ADHD medicine with food to help the stomach aches.

Included in the inattention section are problem with listening to someone, losing things often, having trouble with organization, and having trouble following instruction.

Within the hyperactivity section this including high levels of fidgeting, having trouble sitting down, and excessive talking. With impulsivity is included having trouble waiting for your turn, yelling out at inappropriate times, and a high level of interruption.

ADHD DietWelcome to ADHD 365! ADHD DIET -- Some scholars suggest that those who are living with ADHD could benefit from a diet rich in certain foods. Kids suffering with ADHD are especially encouraged to eat a special diet.

ADHD is not developed because of a diet, but it has been shown in some that eating a certain way can help reduce the symptoms.

Some suggest that kids shouldn't eat lots of dairy products because it has been shown to cause them to lose focus and increase fatigue. This doesn't mean that they shouldn't eat any dairy foods because, for example, milk is important in a growing child's diet.

Most of those who suffer from ADHD as a child do not stop suffering from the disease, but instead continue into their adult life lacking organization, the ability to focus, and it can have negative consequences on your family, friends, and romantic relationships.

Adults that suffer from ADHD have difficulty focusing, with organization, tend to procrastinate, are not good time managers, and often forget to do small tasks throughout the day.

Living your life without treating your ADHD can lead to a very hectic life full of angry friends and family and a long list of obligations that you have forgotten or been absent for.
